Information Minister receives former French Premier

Manama, Apr. 8 (BNA): Minister of Information, Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, received today Frances’s former Prime Minister, Francois Fillon, on the occasion of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and France mainly in the information and telecommunication field, recalling his visit to the French Audiovisual Media Institute, in the capital Paris, within the framework of the official visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to France in 2019. The Information Minister stressed keenness of the Information Ministry on continuous cooperation and coordination between both countries in the media field, in implementation of the royal directives and the memoranda of understanding signed by both countries. The former French Prime Minister expressed happiness about visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain and meeting the Minister of Information, stressing keenness on further bilateral cooperation in the media field. He also affirmed common keenness on bolstering historical relations of friendship between both countries.
