Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology Monday reported that maximum precipitation was recorded in Darkhan soum of Darkhan-Uul aimag (-46.1 mm) in April of 2014. Choibalsan and Dashbalbar soums of Dornod aimag, Mandalgobi soum of Dundgobi aimag, and Zamiin-Uud soum of Dornogobi aimag had the highest air temperature (+29.0 C), while Zavkhan aimag's Tosontsengel soum aimag had the lowest (-18.7 C). The strongest wind--34m/sec--was registered in Jinst soum of Bayankhongor aimag, Bugat soum of Gobi-Altai, and Bulgan soum of Omnogobi aimag in that month. Meanwhile, in the UB city a daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 28 times around the West crossroad, 25 times around the 13th micro district and 11 times around the 32nd Circle Road. Daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 8 times around the West crossroad, the 1st micro district, and the 13th micro district, respectively. Daily average concentration of carbon dioxide exceeded from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard. Particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 25 times around the 13th micro district and 22 times around the West crossroad. Particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded 4 times around the 13th micro district and 2 times around the West crossroad in April of 2014.
