Intˈl Modern Engineering Research Confab Opens In Iran

Khomeini-Shahr, Isfahan prov, March 6, IRNA -- First International Confab on Modern Engineering Research in Mechanics, Development and Electricity Courses opened at Azad University Tuesday. Secretary of the confab, Farshid Aqadavoudi told the inaugural ceremony that the event is a new initiative in the scientific circles and academic centers of the country. The three-day congress attended by the Iranian and foreign experts will be held in the two general and specialized sections, he noted. He said that over 450 scientific articles from 70 Iranian academic centers and four foreign universities have been submitted to the secretariat. Some 240 Iranian and 10 foreign articles were selected from among the entries, he added. Of them, 130 articles will be presented to the confab, he said. The congress will seek to present the latest achievements in the field of industrial development and modern technologies, Aqadavoudi said./end
