Inter-Korean Summit Hailed in Bangladesh

Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations of Bangladesh issued a joint statement on April 30 in congratulation of the third inter-Korean summit meeting and talks.
They are the Jatiya Party, Communist Party, Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), People's League, Socialist Party, Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, Institute of the Juche Idea and the Group for the Study of the Songun Policy.
The statement warmly welcomed the fact that at their meeting and talks the top leaders of the north and the south of Korea agreed on making a new history of the north-south relations and jointly working hard for peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
The statement said:
The third inter-Korean summit meeting and talks are of great significance in developing the north-south ties as desired by the Korean nation and other progressive peoples working to realize the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
In particular, it is a very important event that the top leaders of the north and the south solemnly declared before the whole world that there would be no more war on the peninsula and a new peace era has begun.
We pay high tribute to HE Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people, who made the turning point in the development of the inter-Korean ties with his warm compatriotism and extraordinary political caliber.
We hope that all the Korean people will register a great victory in the struggle for sustained development of the north-south relations and peace, prosperity and reunification of the peninsula. -0-
