The International Conference Of ( Peace and Security In Iraq) Opened In Paris

BAGHDAD / NINA /, the international conference for peace and security for Iraq opened in the French capital Paris on Monday morning 15, Sep. The conference is headed by French President Francois Holland and Iraqi President Fuad Masum, and attended by the foreign ministers of 20 countries. President Holland said in his speech of opening of the conference that "the world must work with Iraq clearly, sincerely and strongly and we should not waste time and the assistance should be in humanitarian level in the presence of nearly two million displaced people." He added, "The displaced families ask us to make efforts and work on humanitarian bridge to help them, and to be active and to collect the necessary funds to help them." He pointed out that "The friends of Iraq must combine their efforts to help it. And France provided the equipment in cooperation with Europe and also the United States to form a broad coalition against the Islamic state, and it will take its active role in this alliance, not only in Iraq, but anywhere in the Middle East, and we must make every effort to prevent the spread of these terrorist ideas and must punish all who joins it directly and indirectly, and the French Parliament in enact a special law on this. " Holland called the international community to find a comprehensive solution to this organization, especially in Syria, which resulted in the continuation of the chaos in which 200 000 people dead, stressing that: " the moderate opposition in Syria must take its role." He stressed that "the conference's agenda includes helping the new Iraqi government and confront Islamic state collectively," adding that: "Countries should express the common desire to protect itself from terrorism," ./ end
