International Eco-Energy Academy develops project on providing Khinalig village with alternative energy

Baku, December 20, AzerTAc The International Eco-Energy Academy has developed a project on provision of the Khinaliq village of Guba region with renewable energy, President of Academy, Professor Fagan Aliyev said. He said that the project his organization prepared first of all, intends to get solar energy, river water and biogas. At his words, located 2200 meters above the sea level, sunlight is more intense in Khinalig village. Therefore, the project prefers solar energy, Mr Aliyev said. Fagan Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is rich with wind, sun, river waters, biotermal, methanol, hydrogen and other renewable energy. Thus, the Academy has developed a number of projects associated with the use of alternative energy sources. The villagers were given directions on agricultural sector, especially for the sustainable development of animal husbandry and fishery as well.
