INTERNET PRICE TO BE REDUCED IN LOCALITIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A cabinet meeting held on Saturday made decisions to improve the speed of the Internet access and to reduce the Internet price in localities. As of today, only eight per cent total of families in centers of aimags and one per cent--in soums have been connected to the Internet and it means the Internet access rate is still in low level in aimags. Thus, the Internet access price will be reduced by three times and the speed will be increased by twice in accordance with a joint decision of the Information Communication Technology and Post Authority /ICTPA/, the Mongolian Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) and Information Communications Network State owned company.
