Intl confab to review history of 'Iran and world' relations in Sofia

Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA – An international conference organized by the Sofia University in Bulgaria will explore 'Iran and the World in the ‎Mirror of History'. The conference which is due in February will mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of Iranology Department of Sofia University (St. Kliment Ohridski). The event is co-organized by Sofia University, the Center of Iranian, Balkan and Central Europe Studies, and two Iranian universities, namely Allameh Tabatabaei and Guilan universities. The two-day conference, to start February 11, will focus on a wide range of issues of including history, geography, civilization and archeology, Persian Language and literature studies, sociology, economics, philosophy and religion, architecture and political studies.
