INT'L POETRY FESTIVAL TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ An international poetry festival "Golden deer" will take place on September 9-17 under an ideology on protecting and saving the earth and nature. The festival is expected to attract 35 Mongolian and foreign poets. They will read their poems while travelling around beautiful natural spots such as the Khamar Monastery in Dornogobi, the Monument of Chingis Khaan in Tsonjinboldog and Terelj. The action has been co-organized by Mongolia's Federation of Writers, Administrations of Dornogobi aimag and its Khatanbulag soum, Paul Van Wouwe, a Honorary Consul of Mongolia in the Flemish Region of the Kingdom of Belgium; "New Mongolia" radio, and poetry clubs. According to the sponsors and co-organizers, the participants of the festival must speak English, and their books must be published. B.Khuder
