Intl Student Olympiad Opens In Isfahan

Isfahan, Aug 13, IRNA – Iran's 18th International Student Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiad opened in central province of Isfahan on Monday. Some 10 Iranian and 27 foreign students from Russia, China, Pakistan and Tatarstan are competing in the four-day event. Speaking to IRNA, head of student Olympiad center and international tests affairs affiliated to Iran's National Education Assessment Organization Behrouz Kaveie said Iranian students enjoy the highest scientific level in the fields of Chemistry and Mathematics across the globe. He stressed that the questions of the Olympiad tests were designed by a number of Iranian and foreign university professors based on international standards in English. /end
