BANGKOK, May 25 (TNA) - The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) reports that nearly 3,700 Rohingya migrants have illegally sneaked into Thailand and other Asian nations so far. According to the IOM report, released on Monday, Bangladeshi migrants are also among those entering Thailand and other four Asian countries illegally, nearly 170 of whom are children and are in Indonesia, many of them traveled alone without their parents. IOM said a three-year-old girl in the illegal migration group has died from tetanus. Based on IOM statistics, about 1.3 million Rohingya Muslims live in Myanmar without citizenship. Meanwhile, Thai police have been hunting for additional 31 suspects in alleged human trafficking cases in the Thai South. Deputy National Police Chief Police General Ake Angsananont acknowledged, in the meantime, that 100 graves found on a mountain along the Thai-Malaysian border on May 24 were in the Malaysian side, and that no more graves and temporary camps of illegal migrants were found in the Thai side following a thorough survey.
