IPU, China Delegations Call On Malaysian Senate President

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- Two delegations, one from the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Committee on Human Rights and the other from an NGO in China, Monday called on Malaysian Senate president Abu Zahar Ujang at Parliament House. The IPU delegation was headed by Senator Juan Pablo Letelier. The others in the delegation were Alioune Abatalib Gueye, Rogier Huizenga and an interpreter. The visitors from the China NGO, the People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD), were headed by its deputy chairman, Han Qide, and comprised 14 people. --BERNAMA
