Iran’s House of Cinema to cooperate with Berlin Film Academy

TEHRAN, Dec. 03 (MNA) – Iran’s House of Cinema and Berlin Film Academy will begin their joint cooperation. Iranian cinema delegation met and discussed with the head of Berlin Film Academy in Germany. During the meeting, representatives of Iranian cineasters explained about their mission and the structure of Iran’s House of Cinema. Iranian delegation member Farhad Towhidi pointed to the joint international cooperation between Iran’s House of Cinema and French Filmmakers and Oscar Academy of Cinema and proposed signing of an agreement to continue their close ties and mutual exchange of experiences in the field of filmmaking industry. Pointing to the fact that the cademy in Germany is very young, the head of Berlin Film Academy Alfred Houglas asserted that they completely knew Iran’s cinema and recognized its values. He expressed surprise that Iran’s House of Cinema has come to the meeting with a complete agenda and called for signing of an agreement before Berlin Film Festival. At this meeting, Gholam Reza Mousavi delivered a speech on the public interest in cinema and the role of government in improving such an interest.
