Iran 1st VP congratulates Muslim counterparts on Eid al-Adha

Tehran, Aug 21, IRNA – Iran's 1st Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri sent separate messages to his Muslim counterparts on Tuesday congratulating them on Eid al-Adha (the Feast of Sacrifice). In his messages, Jahangiri said that Eid al-Adha is a manifestation of the most glorious sacrifices and saying yes to God's call. The vice-president expressed hope that the Muslim Ummah will rely on the divine teachings of the holy prophets so that they will witness further solidarity and unity of the Muslim world in the fight against violence, extremism and disloyalty of hegemonic powers, as well as the expansion of peace, tranquility and promotion of friendship among Muslims across the globe.
