Iran, 5+1 close to final nuclear agreement: IMEMO official

Moscow, April 16, IRNA – Iran and G5+1 are close to achieve final nuclear agreement, Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) Gennady Chufrin said on Wednesday. Talking to IRNA, he noted that Iran has done its best to have a transparent, successful negotiation with G5+1. ˈTehran is committed to resolve the nuclear issue through diplomacy,ˈ Chufrin added. He underlined that G5+1 should not be influenced by the anti-Iran lobby which aims to prevent signing of an accord between the two sides. ˈSince Tehran has proved the peaceful nature of its nuclear activities, the West should lift its illegal sanctions against Iran,ˈ the expert said.
