Iran Among World 12 Countries With Major Mining Resources

Zanjan, April 24, IRNA - Deputy Iranˈs Geology and Mineral Explorations Organization Behrouz Borna said here Wednesday Iran is among the world 12 countries with major mining resources. Apart from enjoying oil and gas resources, Iran is considered as one of the richest country in term of mineral resources, Borna said. He noted that Iran is located in the central mineral belt in the Alps-Himalayas region which is a rich source of minerals./end
