Iran Attends Int'l Fair On Tourism In China

Beijing, Oct 12, IRNA – Beijing International Tourism Expo opened in the Chinese capital on Thursday with the participation of Iran. The 4-day exhibition which is aimed at introducing commodities and services in the field of tourism is organized by China’s World Trade Center. The exhibition also intends to introduce domestic and international tourism services so that offices and organizations active in tourism sector would become familiar with the latest achievements in this area. Iranian representatives at the event are trying to inform the visitors that Iran is facilitating visa issuance so that Chinese tourists can choose Iran as a tourist destination. China’s tourism has entered its golden decade and according to recent statistics it has turned into the third-biggest destination for tourists around the world and the first country in terms of revenues obtained from tourism sector./end
