Iran-Austria universities sign research memorandum

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA -- A vice-chancellor of Austria’s Montana University has expressed happiness over cooperation with Iran’s Petroleum University of Technology. M. P. Moser said Montana University is interested in expanding interaction with PUT in different sectors including petroleum engineering. He said that PUT is among the leading universities engaged in petroleum affairs, adding that Montana University is also of high quality, shana.ir reported. Petroleum University of Technology and Montana University have signed a memorandum for research and scientific cooperation. The agreement was signed on Monday between the two universities in Tehran. The participants in the event discussed ways of research and scientific cooperation. Abdonnabi Hashemi, chancellor of PUT, said the Austrian university can cooperate in the studies on five oil reservoirs. He said that PUT has been instructed by Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh to seek foreign partner in reservoir studies.
