Iran Capable Of Admitting 1m Foreign Patients Annually

Semnan, Feb 12, IRNA – Member of Majlis Health and Medicare Commission Abdolrahman Rostamian says Iran is capable of admitting one million patients from abroad annually. Addressing a group of prayers worshipers in Jame Mosque of Damghan, Rostamian said on Monday that annually 70,000 patients come to Iran for treatment, while many Iranians had to leave the country for abroad for the same purpose. He said foreign patient treatment earns the country $350 million, a figure which can rise to over five billion dollars annually./end
