Iran Cultural Attaché Calls Hafez A Credit For Persian Language

Ankara, Oct 14, IRNA – Iran cultural attaché in Turkey Abolhassan Monfared Khalaj called Iran's classical poet Hafez as a credit for Persian language. Speaking in a ceremony to start autumn course of Persian language here on Saturday afternoon, Monfared Khalaj commemorated Hafez Day. He said that different languages in the world have special characteristics, such as Dutch language is called “ language of philosophy” or Azeri Turkish language as a language of sympathy and languish, but Persian language has many characteristics such as poetry, music and melody which are clear in Hafez poems. The Autumn training course of Persian Language started its work by 200 students on Saturday afternoon. In the opening ceremony, Iran Ambassador to Turkey Bahman Hosseinpour were present, too. Head of Persian language training center Mehdi Hadi presented a report on activities of the center and a number of Turkish students recited Hafez poem./end
