Iran-Egypt Tourism Festival Opens In Tehran

Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Iran-Egypt tourism festival aimed at fostering ties between the two countries tourism activists and owners of travel agencies opened in Tehran Sunday. Organized by Iran Tour Guides Society, the Iranian and Egyptian tourism activists will become familiar with each otherˈs tourism potentials during the three-day event. The event is considered as the first tourism and cultural gathering between the two nations. Iran and Egypt signed an agreement in Tehran late February to promote tourism cooperation. Based on the accord, the two sides agreed to send tourists to the other country through private sectors./end
