Iran envoy emphasizes on Muslims role against Islamophobia

Belgrade, Aug 8, IRNA – The Iranian ambassador to Slovenia has said Muslims and Islamic communities in Europe have a crucial role regarding the present challenges and movements related to Islamophobia. Morteza Darzi Ramandi made the remarks Tuesday in a farewell meeting at the end of his mission with Slovenia's highest Islamic authority, Mufti Nedzad Grabus. He elaborated on the development of ties between Iran and Slovenia and hoped for continuation of good ties between Iran’s diplomatic mission and Slovenia Islamic community. Grabus, for his part, referred to the activities of Slovenia Islamic community and further underlined the need for respecting all Islamic sects.
