Iran expresses condolences over Zimbabwe storm casualty

Tehran, March 17, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Sunday offered condolences to the people and government of Zimbabwe over death toll by a recent storm. According to the latest reports, at least 31 people have died in eastern Zimbabwe and tens are missing in the storm. Cyclone Idai brought floodwater and destroyed the areas of Mozambique and Malawi, then hit Zimbabwe on Friday. It cut off power and washed away communication towers, too.
