Iran FM to travel to Vienna this week

Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi will travel to Vienna, Austria, this week to participate in the 5th United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Global Forum. The UNAOC Global Forum will be launched in Vienna on February 27 and will be continued until Feb 28. UNAOC was established in 2005, at the initiative of the Governments of Spain and Turkey, under the auspices of the United Nations. UNAOC aims to improve understanding and cooperative relations among nations and peoples across cultures and religions. It also helps counter forces that fuel polarization and extremism.
