Iran Has Great Geniuses In Physics, Astronomy: AWB Director

Tabriz, E. Azarbaijan, Dec 9, IRNA – Director and Founder of Association of Astronomers without Borders (AWB) Mike Simmons said here Saturday that Iran has great geniuses in physics and astronomy and Iranian amateur astronomers are very active. Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of an astronomy seminar in Tabriz, he added that astronomy is at the center of attention due to its mysteries and wonderful facts. Stating that astronomy boasts of special complications, he added that astronomy is divided into two professional and amateur branches. Simmons also said that Iran has a large number of amateur astronomers compared to other countries./end
