Iran holds Pakistan responsible for fate of kidnapped Iranian border guard

Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Iranian lawmaker Baqer Hosseini on Tuesday held Islamabad government responsible for the fate of the kidnapped Iranian border guard who has not been released and whose fate is not clear yet. Jeish al-Adl terrorist group which claimed responsibility for abduction of five Iranian border guards two months ago, said on March 23 that it killed Jamshid Danaeifar, the kidnapped border guard. Although four of the border guards were released, the fate of Jamshid Danaeifar is still unclear. Hosseini said that Jeish al-Adl group is now divided into two groups; one who have changed their minds and want to return to Iran and the other who insist on their criminal acts. Hosseini said that the four released border guards were in the hands of the first group and Jamshid Danaeifar was held by the other group. He expressed pleasure with presence of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps along the eastern borders to help establish security in the bordering areas.
