Iran hopes Minsk agreement to stop conflict

Tehran, Feb 14, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Saturday expressed hope that implementation of Minsk Agreement concerning separatist conflict in Ukraine to stop war and prevent massacre of innocent people. According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, Marzieh Afkham welcomed the results of the Minsk meeting and expressed hope that the peace plan would be a step toward settlement for current conflict in East of Ukraine. The 13 articles Minsk Agreement to settle conflict in east of Ukraine was signed by heads of states of Russia, Ukraine, France, Germany in capital of Belarus last Thursday February 12, 2015. Upon one of article of the agreement, a ceasefire will effect from 12 noon on February 15, 2015 between the warrying parties in east of Ukraine.
