Iran to host 1st int’l confab on media management

Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA – The National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran (NLAI) will hold the 1st International Conference on Media Management on Nov. 9-10, 2014, said an official. According to the secretary of the conference Mahmoud As’adi, “the event is being held with the aim of institutionalizing the theories of media management in Iran.” The conference will be attended by mediapersons as well as top officials and managers of press and news agencies. Top articles selected from the works submitted to the conference’s secretariat will be awarded at the event. The international conference will set up educational workshops for the participants who will also receive a certificate of the 1st international conference on media management. The conference will review and study new theories of media management, media strategic management as well as the nature of media management in Iran and the world’s universities and the media's future./end
