Iran karatekas snatch 6 medals in Austrian champs

Tehran, March 4, IRNA – Iranian karate fighters received six colorful medals in Karate1 Series A held in Salzburg, Austria on March 1-3. In Kumite category final match, Iran squad bagged two gold and 2 silver medals. In – 55 kg weight category, Iran's Taravat Khaksar defeated Chilean rival 1-0. Mahdi Khodabakhshi in the weight category – 84 kg hit Turkish rival 5-2 and received a gold medal. Menwhile, Sara Bahmanyar in – 50 kg weight category and Saleh Abazari in the weight category of + 84 kg earned silver medals.
