Iran leaves behind difficulties created by global arrogance

Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA – Despite entire sabotages and enmities, including sanctions, coups, terrorist attempts, and a lengthy war, Iran has relying on late Imam's miraculous leadership, people's will and presence emerged victorious, the Expediency Council Chairman said on Saturday. 'The Iranians have left behind all the difficulties created by the global arrogance, and managed to achieve unique progress and advancement in many fields throughout the years after the years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution,' Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said at the beginning of the Expediency Council session on the occasion of upcoming anniversary of the victory of Islamic Revolution. 'The Islamic Revolution of Iran, unlike the other revolutions in history of the world, which begin with killing all the opponents of the revolution right after victory to stabilize their positions, has with least possible revolutionary purges, led to the rule of the people and is the most peaceful revolution of the contemporary era,' said the Leadership Experts Council member. The former Iranian president said that under the circumstances which most neighboring countries are in a way engaged in harsh aggressive conflicts, the Islamic Republic of Iran proceeds with its path with full security, which is the great and praiseworthy achievement of the Islamic system. Ayatollah Rafsanjani invited Iranians from all walks of life to participate actively in the rally marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11.
