Iran, Lebanon review regional, global developments

Beirut, May 4, IRNA – Iranˈs Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi conferred on Saturday withLebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on issues of mutual interests along with regional and global developments. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Roknabadi expressed satisfaction with the meeting and said the two sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries. Roknabadi underlined that Iran was tryig to restore stability and security to the region. He called on Lebanese political groups to exercise unity and solidarity. Lebanon is on the verge of its 13th presidential election. Lebanese parliamentarians should appoint the new president before May 25. end
