Iran Minister Of Culture Invited To Tunisia

Beirut, June 25, IRNA – Tunisian Culture Minister Murad al-Saqli on Tuesday invited his Iranian counterpart Ali Jannati to visit Tunisia simultaneously with holding Iran cultural week in Tunisia. The first Iran cultural week is due to be held in Tunisia on October 14-19. Director-General of the International Relations Department of the Tunisian Ministry of Culture Faeqeh al-Awani earlier in the day presented the invitation letter to Iranˈs cultural attaché in Tunisia Sadeq Ramezani Golafzani. Al-Awani expressed satisfaction with enhanced cultural relations between the two countries and said Tunisia is ready to extend an existing cultural agreement with Tehran and to sign new documents on cooperation in different areas, including translation, theater and music. Meanwhile, the Iranian cultural attaché referred to Tunisia cultural week held in Iran in 2012, during which the two countries signed an agreement on cinema cooperation, and expressed hope that upcoming Iran cultural week due to be held in Tunisia would help boost cultural cooperation between the two countries./end
