Iran national wushu team becomes world champion for 1st ever time

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA – Iranian national wushu team managed to gain its first ever championship in Sanda World Cup on Sunday The competitions, which began in the Chinese city of Hangzhou on Saturday, came to an end on Sunday. The Iranian athletes won seven gold medals and a silver one to become champion of the competitions. China and Russia ranked second and third respectively following Iran. In all the past eight editions of the competitions, China had become world champion.
