Iran-Pakistan Ink Deal For Relief Aid Distribution

Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA – Imam Khomeini Relief Committee signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sindh's Ministry for Relief and Natural Disasters on Saturday. According to the Public Relations Department of Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, the agreement was signed by the caretaker of the committee Hossein Anvari and Sindh's Minister of Relief and Natural Disasters Halim Sheikh Adel with the aim of cooperation in distribution of relief aid and humanitarian assistance to the needy, especially the victims of natural disasters. Establishment of a joint relief committee by the Southeast Asia, using the two countries' capabilities in the field of humanitarian relief, transfer of Iran's support patterns to Pakistan and coordination to distribute humanitarian assistance were the topics discussed by the two officials during the signing ceremony./end
