Iran Paralympic power lifter shortlisted for 2018 tops

Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA – The International Paralympic Committee has listed Iranian power lifter, Siamand Rahman, as nominee for the Best Powerlifter of 2018 on Saturday. Iran's Rahman in the weight category of + 107 kg, as well as his Ukrainian and Colombian rivals have been nominated as the 2018 best players. Earlier, Rahman grabbed the best 2017 player title. Rahman, who is known as the world’s strongest Paralympic player, won the award in a ceremony on the sidelines of the 2017 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) General Assembly and Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
