Iran President congratulates his Kazakh counterpart on Republic Day

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a message on Tuesday congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on the occasion of the Republic Day in that country on October 25. President Raisi also congratulated Kazakh nation on the event. Referring to his travel to Astana, Kazakhstan, to take part in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in mid-October, the president said his visit took place in line with regional relations to provide peace and security for Asia and express message of friendship and brotherhood to the Kazakh nation and government. Bilateral ties would extend as there are good capacities in both countries, he noted. Kazakhstan’s Republic Day marks the declaration of independence in that country in 1990.
