Iran ranks first at Turkey intˈl Alpine skiing competition

Istanbul, Dec 31, IRNA – Iran Alpine skiing team bagged eleven medals at Turkey international Alpine skiing competition and ranked first in the tournament. In the final day, two Iranian champions Hossein Saveh Shemshaki bagged gold medal and Forough Abbasi bagged Bronze medal which brought Iran on the first rank. Alpine downhill or straight racing was held in four different phases of big and small Alpine. After the Islamic Republic of Iran teams from Slovakia and Turkey ranked second and third in the international tournament. Some 40 male and 12 female champions from seven countries took part in the tournament. Teams from Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Iran and Turkey were present in the tournament./end
