Iran ready to play key role in regional peace, stability

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif voiced Iranˈs readiness to play an effective role in reinforcing peace and stability in the region. The foreign minister made the remarks here on Monday in a press conference jointly attended by his visiting Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandyan after a bilateral meeting. Zarif appreciated identical views Armenia shares with Iran in the international arena. As to his meeting with Nalbandyan, he said the two discussed ways of promoting bilateral relations in various areas including transportation, energy and banking. end
