Iran Spokesman In Turkey To Discuss Media Co-op

Ankara, Dec 23, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman and Head of General Diplomacy and Media Center Ramin Mehmanparast arrived in Ankara on Saturday heading a media delegation to discuss media cooperation with nine Turkish officials. Mehmanparast is to meet with Vice-President of ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Omar Celik, Head of General Diplomacy of Premier Office Jamalulddin Hashemi, Director General of Press and Information in Premier Office Meerut Karkat, President Press Advisor and Spokesman Ahmet Sur, and Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Celcuk Unal. In other meetings, Mehmanparast will discuss issues of mutual interest with Turkey's Deputy Foreign Minister Naji Koru, Managing Director of Anadolu News Agency Kamal Uzturk, Deputy Foreign Minister in Regional Affairs Omar Unhan, and Director General of Turkey's Radio and TV ,Ebrabim Sahin. The Iranian media delegation will discuss ways of expanding media cooperation between the two countries and using experiences of the two sides./end
