Iran Student Filmmaker Attending San Sebastian Festival

Madrid, Sept 21, IRNA – The 61th San Sebastian Film Festival underway in San Sebastian, northern Spain, features an Iranian student filmmaker titled ‘Worker Couple’. Directed by Kayvan Karimi, a student of Tehran University Media Studies Faculty, the 11-minute film narrates the story of a young couple who are working together to run their life. The wife works on days and the husband at nights. As soon as the wife arrives home, the husband leaves for work. The film will be screened in the international cinema students assembly section of the one-week festival, which boasts a total of 18 sections, with a special section. The special section in the ongoing festival features 16 films from the European and American states. The highest prize of the festival, Golden Shell, is awarded in this section.
