Iran, Switzerland MPs discuss ways to expand ties

Tehran, April 20, IRNA – Iran and Switzerland parliamentarians discussed ways to expand relations in a meeting in Tehran on Sunday. Vice-Speaker of the (Majlis) Parliament Mohammad Hassan Abutorabi Fard welcomed enhanced ties between the Iranian and Switzerland Parliaments in all fields. He cited economy as the ground for cooperation between the two countries. The senior MP lauded Switzerland’s important role in securing the world stability. Swiss parliamentary delegation is on a visit to Iran. The Swiss MPs arrived Tehran on April 16 to discuss bilateral ties and explore the grounds for cooperation. Meanwhile, the Swss delegation is scheduled to meet with Iranian senior officials on issues of mutual interest and the international issues.
