Iran sympathizes with Iraqi nation over gas explosion in Sulaimaniyah

Tehran, IRNA – The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed condolences on Saturday to the Iraqi nation and government over the gas explosion in Sulaimaniyah in the Iraqi Kurdistan region which led to the death of some people and injury of some others. Nasser Kanaani also sympathized with the families of the victims of the sad event. On November 17, the gas cylinder explosion in Sulaimaniyah flattened the building where the explosion happened, damaged three neighboring buildings, and killed at least 15 people. The reports show that three children are among the dead. Iraqi Kurdistan region’s center for the fight against terrorism announced that the incident had not been a terrorist one.
