Iran, Thailand to expand cooperation

BANGKOK, May 14 (TNA) - Iran and Thailand have strengthened bilateral cooperation and eyed to further expand their cooperation within both bilateral and multilateral frameworks. The joint stance was echoed at a meeting between new Iranian Ambassador to Thailand H.E. Hossein Kamalian and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, held at the Thai Ministry of Defence in Bangkok on Thursday morning. Iran has always supported Thailand on international stages, including those of the United Nations, the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
