Iran, Turkey Discuss Social Security For Nationals

Tehran, Sept 13, IRNA – Iran and Turkey have held a fourth round of talks in Izmir on providing mutual social security for the nationals of the two countries. Iran’s Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bigdeli wrote in his Facebook page that in case the talks are finalized nationals of the two countries can use insurance coverage in the host country. Turkey is the first country Iran is working to reach an agreement with in this field. Bigdeli described the talks an important step towards deepening of bilateral ties between the people of the two countries. The first round of the talks was held in Tehran in 2012, the second in Ankara last year and the third round in Shiraz earlier this year. The objective behind signing the agreement is to provide insurance services and job security for Iranian and Turkish nationals while studying or working in the host country./end
