Iran urges Turkish Air pilot to elaborate on his abnormal behavior

Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami said the Turkish Air pilot should be accountable for his unusual decision of changing the route to Baku. Eslami rejected the gossips regarding airstrike, saying there were no special conditions in Iran sky and landing at Imam Khomeini Airport was possible. The pilot could have landed at Imam Airport but made an unusual return to an alternative airport. The siren sound that was heard in Tehran was due to the connection of a wire and then it was turned off and had nothing to do with Imam Khomeini Airport and night flights.
