Iran wins Int'l Wushu Cup 2019

Zahedan, March 4, IRNA – Iran ranked first in the 3rd International Wushu Cup 2019 which was held in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, head of Sistan and Baluchestan Wushsu committee said. Speaking to IRNA on Monday, Abbas Shibak said the event was held with the attendance of five foreign teams from India, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. Two Iranian teams also participated in the event. Afghanistan and India ranked second and third respectively. Wushu, or Chinese Kungfu, is a hard and full martial art, as well as a full-contact sport. It has a long history in reference to Chinese martial arts. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
