Iran wins World Taekwondo President's Cup

Tehran, March 2, IRNA – Iranian taekwondo fighters ranked first in the 3rd WT President's Cup which is underway in Kish Island, southern Iran. The event is underway in Kyorugi and Para-Taekwondo categories. Some 361 athletes from Azerbaijan, US, Jordan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Tunisia, China, Russia, Syria, Sweden, Iraq, Oman, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Georgia, Lebanon, Poland and India attended the event. Finally, Iranian squad with 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals and with 763 points ranked first. Jordan and South Korea ranked second and third respectively.
