Iranian border guard killed in SE country

Zahedan, Nov 28, IRNA - An informed Iranian source announced on Wednesday a member of the Iranian border guard regiment has been killed in Mirjaveh in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Mehdi Hodiyani was killed while monitoring the border. No official has yet commented on the issue. Mirjaveh is located 75 kilometers east of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province and it shares border with Pakistan. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
