Iranian director to make doc on Cannes fringe issues

TEHRAN,May 19(MNA)-- Iranian comedy actor and director Reza Attaran is currently making a documentary on fringe issues at the Cannes Film Festival. Shooting of the film entitled “Red Carpet” began at Cannes on Friday. Some parts of the movie will be shot on location in Monte Carlo. Stage and costume design Keivan Moqaddam, make-up artist Mohsen Babaii and cinematographer Ahmad Ahmadi are among the Iranian crew members. Several foreign members are also collaborating in this project. Attaran is famous for his roles in comedy. He has also directed several films and TV serials, also with a comic story line.
