Iranian films line up for Indian festival

TEHRAN,Apr.5(MNA) – Twelve Iranian movies will compete in the 6th International children’s Film Festival, which will be held in Lucknow, India from April 7 to 15. “Mammy Crow & the Fox” directed by Mohammad-Ali Soleimanzadeh, “Kind Moon” by Nazanin Sobhan-Sarbandi, “Gordaleh and Auntie Ghuleh” by Nadereh Torkamani and “Lesson” by Mehdi Bustani are among the films. The lineup also includes “The Pearl” directed by Sirus Hassanpur, “The White Slopes” by Ebrahim Moayyeri, “Mr. Principal” by Hassan Aqakarimi and “The Foster Child” by Vahid Nikkhah-Azad. “The Fox Who Followed the Sound” by Fatemeh Gudarzi, “If Only Someone Comes” by Hamed Banki “Bald Pigeon Fancier” by Sadegh Javadi and “Wedding Party” by Mahin Javaherian are other Iranian films, which will be screened at the festival. The festival aims to promote entertaining, educative cinema among young audiences and to explore the possibilities of using the visual medium as a tool for better entertaining, educational, material, human and spiritual improvements.
